Amish Direct Playsets
THE BRIEF
Amish Direct Playsets wanted to update its image to align with their company’s strategic goals, as their previous brand identity was no longer appropriate for a modern audience. They wanted a youthful look that is warm and welcoming to families looking for the best quality swing sets & play sets. They needed a modern website that is user-friendly on desktop and mobile to increase their lead conversions.
THE WEBSITE
The Amish Direct Playsets website features a minimal and modern, yet playful design built in WordPress. It is fully optimized for mobile, delivering excellent performance with Google and other search engines.
The custom website needed to show all available wood and vinyl playsets and accessories. The client also wanted site visitors to have the ability to sort playsets easily based on common criteria. They wanted the site to be easy to maintain.
To meet the project requirements, we created a custom database system (integrated with WordPress) and easy-to-use custom forms for the client to update the playsets. Using AJAX, we wrote a system that gives site visitors extremely fast response time.
In addition, we wrote a custom testimonial system that allows customers to upload photos of their projects; the system will resize the photos as they are uploaded. Amish Direct is able to approve testimonials and manage the pages where they will display.
The end result is a website that meets and/or exceeds our client’s requirements. The website is extremely easy to update, performs well, and is designed specifically for their target market.
THE BRAND IDENTITY
The new Amish Direct Playsets logo incorporates a playset/swingset within the font, combined with a directional arrow. The font is both a legible and playful style that denotes movement & energy. The directional arrow also ties in with the company’s name and the direct delivery of quality playsets.
